Amanda is the owner of Edge Fitness. She has been a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, total-body transformation coach, and motivational speaker for over 18 years. In addition to her educational experience, Amanda has an amazing ability to connect on a more personal level with all of her class members and clients as she herself has struggled with nutrition/exercise and overcome the impossible. Prior to becoming involved in the health and fitness industry, Amanda herself overcame obesity, exercise addiction, and eating disorders. She has also overcome a severe life-threatening accident during her career in the industry. Amanda has passion for living a healthly life and it is her mission to share her knowledge with everyone in order to help others achieve their health and fitness goals while living a healthy and happy life. Jenny became interested in health and wellness at an early age. She has experienced all of the physical, mental, and emotional benefits that come from exercise and a good diet and is passionate about helping others achieve the same results. Jenny earned a degree in Biology from the U.S. Air Force Academy, served in the military, and has taught fitness classes for over 10 years. She is an AAFA certified instructor and loves helping and encouraging people of all fitness levels. Jenny loves seeing people grow (in mind and body) and loves being by their side when they are able to do something they previously thought was impossible. She enjoys a challenge and loves challenging those she works with. In addition, Jenny enjoys lifting weights and running and has completed many races from 5k to a marathon. In the past, she taught Step Aerobics, Spinning, Pilates, Kickboxing, Boot Camp, and more. She also enjoys being outdoors, hiking, reading, studying the Bible, and spending time with her family.
Justin is NFPT certified and working on going back to school for Kinesiology. He has participated in exercising in a variety of different ways ever since high school. Over one year ago, Justin started participating in a boot camp small group workout program and hasn’t looked back. From his participation in boot camp workouts, he immediately began to notice strength gains, cardiovascular endurance improvements, and simply began to move more functionally in life in more ways than one. Justin eventually became a boot camp instructor and took over the boot camp class he was once a participant in. At the time, the class was facing the possibility of being cancelled, so he took it over to keep it going and because he wanted all the participants to continue to have a workout support team to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. Justin enjoyed the small group so much that he felt he was ready to expand and work towards becoming a boot camp trainer at a higher level. Justin began training to be a boot camp instructor/trainer with the Owner of Edge Fitness, Amanda Price-Salazar, and is now part of the Edge Fitness Boot Camp Trainer Team!
Jessica is an experienced personal trainer, boot camp trainer, and coach. Her passion is weightlifting and she enjoys running. She has also competed in races from 5k’s to full marathons and everything in between. In previous years, Jessica has experience in competing in professional figure shows, triathlons, weightlifting, collegiate basketball, cross-fit and mud runs. Jessica loves playing all competitive sports and being outdoors. She has her B.S. in Physical Education from Linfield College, her personal training certificate with ISSA, and she is CPR certified. Jessica has been a personal trainer at 24 Hour Fitness and another local Olympia gym from 2004-2007. She is skilled in nutritional support and can help recommend ways to live a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition at any age in your life. Fitness, nutrition, mind-body awareness and recovery are all part of taking care of your body and making health a lifelong habit. Jessica is passionate about creating attainable goals for clients and to see you be successful! Life is too short to be caught up in negative experiences and she wants to help work with you make your experience with exercise and food easy and enjoyable!
